2025 challenge: The IDIOM Quilt Challenge
Create a quilt inspired by one of the idiom phrases listed below:

Challenge Rules
Quilt Size: No smaller than 18” x 18” (or 72” circumference) and no larger than 24” x 24” (or 96” circumference).
Entry must be a completed and bound or faced quilt with three layers and quilting. Hanging sleeve is optional.
Specifications: Use any quilt technique— piecing, collage, any type of applique, including fusible. Choose any
style—traditional, modern, improv, arty, collage, whatever. Use any type of embellishment if you want. This is a
fun challenge. Be humorous or make a statement…but let’s stretch the “little gray cells”.
Note: You must use one of the idioms on the list above. No others are acceptable.
Due Date: October 14, 2025 General Meeting. The Big Reveal will be at the November 11th in-person General
Meeting. Members will vote for Viewer’s Choice. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. Contact Marcia Degner, Challenge
