Comfort Bears & PILLOW PALS
Comfort Bears is an ongoing community program reaching out to those children facing the challenges of loss, abuse, accidents, and illness. The bears and masks provide comfort to these children and will be placed with Florence Fuller and other organizations for adoption.
Although our monthly workshops have temporarily been put on hold due to Covid-19, we are encouraging our members to continue to make Comfort Bears and masks. Guild members of all abilities are welcome to participate in making bears and masks.

Hello!
In 2018 my 2 year old had a medical emergency and was taken by ambulance to the West Boca hospital. After she was resuscitated the EMT gave her a "Square Bob" (as we call him) stuffed animal from the Gold Coast Quilters Guild (which has since dissolved and I believe the remaining members joined Quilt Guild by the Sea). She is still medically complex but her "Square Bob" goes EVERYWHERE with her and brings her more comfort than any other toy/stuffed animal.
Thank you so much for all you do for our kiddos. It means more than anyone realizes and it is very appreciated.
